This page lists information about your case with DSS. It gives you the most current information we have on file about the following:

 

Case: Group of individuals who live together in the same household and are requesting or receiving benefits from the Department of Social Services. The case will also include Sponsors of non-citizens and other individuals whose income, assets and expenses are used to determine eligibility for benefits.

 

Case Head of Household: The Individual who is responsible to submit the application and renewals, reports changes and acts on behalf of household.

 

Eligibility Determination Group (EDG): Group of individuals whose income, assets and expenses are used to determine eligibility for benefits.  

  

Eligibility Determination Group (EDG) Head of Household: Individual who is the Head of Household for the Eligibility Determination Group. Individual can submit Applications, Renewals and Report Changes on behalf of the Eligibility Determination Group.

 

Household Member: Individual that is part of the case. This includes individuals that live in the household and those whose income, assets and expenses are used to determine eligibility for benefits.

  

Case Selection: This section allows you to choose a case to view in your MyAccount. Select the case number you want to view and then click the View Case button.

 

Case Information:

 

Client Address: This is the most current address on file. You will see this address if you are the head of household.

 

Report Changes: This section allows you to indicate whether you would like to report a change for the case you are viewing. In order to report a change for a different case, you must first change the case within the Case Selection section and then select the link in the Report Changes section.

 

Renewals: This lists all program(s) that are up for redetermination in the next 60 days.

 

Periodic Report Form: This section allows you to complete a periodic report form. You currently get benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) based on information you gave us or that we matched in our computer system. You are now half way through your SNAP benefit period. We need to know if you have any changes to report to us.

 

Benefits Summary: This lists all programs and the benefit status of those programs you are receiving benefits from. You can view details of the program by clicking the Magnifying Glass icon in the Details column.

 

Recently Received Documents: This lists your uploaded verification documents.

 

Online Submissions: This lists all submissions (Applications, Renewals, Change Reports) completed through ConneCT.

 

Your Notices: This section allows you to view notices you have received in the past 90 days. To view a notice, click the View Notice link for the corresponding notice entry. This page can also be used for enrollment or disenrollment from paperless notices.

 

Apply: Click here to start or continue an application for DSS benefits that you may be eligible for.

 

Application Status: This is the status of your incomplete online application.

Mail Documents to DSS: Click here to create a printable cover sheet to mail verifications to DSS.

 

Announcements: The announcements at the top of the page allow you to keep up to date on news pertaining to your account and DSS offices.
