Burial Contracts and Plots

 

On this page, we're asking you to tell us more about which type of burial Assets each person owns.

 

A "Burial Plot" is land in a cemetery for burial.  A "Burial Trust" is an arrangement in which you give money to another person or institution so they can use it to cover the cost of your burial.

 

By "Burial Insurance", we mean an insurance policy that can only be used to cover the costs of your burial.

 

A funeral contract is burial fund is a fund held by a licensed funeral director as a result of a contractual arrangement to be released only upon the death of a recipient, but which can be transferred to another funeral director.

 

If the person doesn't own any type of burial asset, check the box for None.
