Other People In Your Home

This page asks you to tell us who else lives in your home and how they are related to you. Since you already told us about you, this page is just for those other people. The number of people on the page should equal the number of other people who live in your home. If you see the wrong total number of people on the page, then click the Previous button and change the number of people who live in your home. If you see the right number of people but we haven’t put them into the right section for children and adults, just go ahead and answer the questions. We’ll put those people in the right sections later on. To answer the questions:

 

  1. Type the first name, nickname or initials in the first box for each person. We don’t need to know their real name or their last name. Keep in mind that each name or set of initials must be different from the others.
  2. Then, type the age of each person in the second box. If you don’t know a person’s exact age, just make the best guess you can. If there’s a baby living in your home that is less than one year old, just type in 0.
  3. Then, click the button to let us know whether each person is male or female.
  4. The last question asks you to select the words that best describe how you are related to the person. Click on the gray triangle to see the list of options, then choose one. Here are some examples to help you out:
